Let’s Talk About It
In life, no one is ever truly alone in the pursuit of their goals, whether you’re a parent raising children, a CEO running a business, or a college student navigating your studies. We all have dreams and plans, and it’s easy to focus on those goals and how we can achieve them. But it’s something I’ve learned myself: while I can make all the plans I want, God’s plan is always greater.
It’s natural to get wrapped up in the process of success, but when things don’t go the way we expect, when a wrench is thrown in our plans, it’s a reminder that we need God’s direction. I know I’ve been in that place before, frustrated by the detours, only to remember that God’s wisdom is the one thing I can rely on to navigate it all. As you work toward your academic goals and the future you’re building, keep in mind that success doesn’t always look the way we expect it. It’s trusting in God’s plan and seeking His guidance in every decision.
Prayer for College Student
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your love and guidance. As I pursue my goals this semester, I ask for Your wisdom to help me stay focused on what You want for my life. When things don’t go as planned, remind me that Your plan is always better. Help me to trust You with my goals and be open to the direction You have for me, even when it feels different from what I imagined.
Lord, give me the patience to navigate the detours and the wisdom to know when to adjust my plans. I want my success to reflect Your will, not just my own. Help me to honor You in everything I do.

While you make plans for your future, remember that God’s plan is always the one that prevails. Trust Him to guide you toward success, even when the path isn’t what you expected.
