To the Only God, Our Savior
Be encouraged by today’s Scripture reflection and prayer.

Today's Scripture
To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
— Jude 1:25 (KJV)
Reflection
In the last few weeks, I have been reading the book of Daniel. It’s really an insightful book, not just about our human condition but also about God. It reminds us to remember what He has done and who He is. He is not a God who just created the world and forgot about it. While His creative work was finished in six days, His power continues to be displayed, as well as His other attributes.
Jude 1:25 speaks to this truth when it declares that God deserves all glory, majesty, dominion, and power, both now and forever. These words show us who God is. He is not just the Creator, but the Sovereign Ruler of everything. His glory and majesty reflect His greatness, and His dominion and power show His authority over all things. God is not bound by time. He is eternal. His reign is unchanging and unshakable, from the beginning of creation to the end of time and beyond.
As we read in Daniel, God’s attributes are displayed through His actions. He is wise beyond measure, powerful beyond comprehension, and majestic in ways we cannot fully grasp. His glory shines through in His faithfulness to His people, even when we don’t always see the bigger picture. His dominion means that nothing is outside of His control. He is both sovereign and present, working His will in the world and in our lives, now and forever.
This is the God we serve. A God whose glory and power are not limited by anything, and who is always working for our good. And through Jesus, we are invited to experience His eternal majesty, His sustaining dominion, and His powerful grace. Through Jesus, we are brought into the very presence of this God, the One who is and always will be the source of all glory, majesty, and power.
Today's Prayer
Lord, You are the only wise God, our Savior. Thank You for Your glory, majesty, dominion, and power. Help me to remember Your greatness in every moment, especially when I face challenges. Through Jesus, I have access to Your eternal presence. May my life reflect Your glory as I trust in Your unshakable power and authority. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Before You Go
Take a moment to reflect on God’s eternal greatness. How can you acknowledge His glory, majesty, dominion, and power in your life today? Through Jesus, we are invited to walk in His presence, where His sovereignty and grace meet us in every circumstance. Let this truth encourage you as you move through your day, knowing that the God who holds all power is with you, now and forever.
