He is Worthy—Always

Reflection: The Unchanging Worthiness of God

I am a creature that changes. My feelings, my ideals, even my moods shift more often than I care to admit. Thank God, though, for His constant drawing and making His truth known to me. On this side of heaven, I’m aware of my warring natures—the tension between what I desire and what I know to be true.

It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking that because I change, God must change too. But He is not like me. He is unchanging and forever good. And that truth—His unshakable worthiness—remains, no matter what life brings. Every praise and act of worship He receives, He deserves, because He is the Creator of all things, and His worth isn’t tied to my circumstances.

When life knocks me down, I have to remind myself: my circumstances do not change His worthiness. God is worthy of worship, of praise, of honor, no matter how I feel or what’s going on around me. His goodness is constant, even when life feels anything but.

I Am Not Alone in His Worthiness

I know I’m not alone in these feelings. We all go through seasons of struggle, doubt, and hardship—but that does not change the truth of God’s worthiness. His worth is not dependent on my circumstances, but on His eternal, unchanging nature. No matter where you are today, God remains forever worthy of all honor and praise.
