Remembering God’s Power in Creation
Be encouraged by today’s Scripture reflection and prayer.

Reflection
Have you ever looked up at the night sky, filled with scattered, twinkling lights? Or stood beside the ocean, listening to the waves roll in and out with a rhythm only God could orchestrate?
Even with all our science and technology, we still only know part of how creation works. And we are still learning. Still exploring. But the truth is, we will never fully grasp the depths of God's creation or the beauty of His handiwork.
So with all our knowledge, what do we really know, especially when it comes to counseling or questioning God?
I’ll admit, I can be a little opinionated at times. Maybe I think something could be improved. Or that I have a better way to do things. That mindset can even sneak into how I view my own life. I start imagining how I think things should go, how I want things to unfold.
But that way of thinking only serves my flesh. It puffs up my pride.
God’s power in creation is a reminder that I am not in control. He created all things. He holds everything together. And not only did He create the universe, but He also provides for it. This statement to Job was not just a lesson. It was a reminder of God's wisdom, power, and authority, and how small we really are.
It reminds me that I am His creation. He does not owe me an explanation. He does not answer to me.
There was a time in my life when I wrestled with that. I was angry and bitter, struggling to understand why God would let me suffer. I had so many "why" questions. Why this? Why now? Why me?
But one day it hit me. I wasn’t just hurting. I was challenging God's wisdom. I was questioning what He knew was best for me.
There were hard lessons to learn in that season. But through it all, God was patient. He gently brought me to a place of trust and submission.
When I look back now, I see it more clearly. His way was better. His knowledge was deeper. His power and wisdom were far beyond mine.
Today's Prayer
Lord, thank You for being Creator and Sustainer. You are wise in all Your ways, and I am humbled by Your greatness. Forgive me for the times I thought I knew better. Teach me to trust You fully, even when I do not understand. Help me remember that I am Your creation, and You know what is best for me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Before You Go
God’s power in creation is not just something to admire. It is a call to trust.
When life doesn’t make sense, remember the One who designed the stars and the seas is the same One guiding your life. You don’t have to understand everything to believe that He is good.
You are held by the hands that made everything.
Did you miss it? Don’t worry—you can still catch up.
